We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Legal Officer to join our organisation at our Head Office in Burswood, Western Australia. This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of services, including Aged Care, Primary Care, NDIS, Home Care, Mental Health, and Retirement Living. Reporting directly to the CEO and Co-CEO , you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice and ensuring the organisation operates within all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks. About the Role As Legal Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal support across the organisation. You will work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to manage legal risk, support compliance, and contribute to informed decision-making at the highest level. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and practical legal advice across all areas of the organisation Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (including NDIS and aged care frameworks) Support governance processes, including Board and executive reporting Manage legal risk and contribute to the development of policies and procedures Liaise with external legal counsel where required Assist with dispute resolution and regulatory matters About You Qualified legal practitioner with a current practising certificate in Western Australia (or eligibility to obtain) Demonstrated experience in a similar in-house or private practice role Strong knowledge of healthcare, aged care, disability services, or community services legislation (highly desirable) Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
